Jared has a new job. Did I tell you that already? He's maintenance manager at an RV park now. He cleans bath houses, mows grass, fixes plumbing, all sorts of stuff. Today they are starting work on the swimming pools so they'll be ready to open Memorial weekend (they need lots of work).
Jared just got a new truck! So the extra pay he's getting at his new job has already found a home, lol. Praying we'll be able to sell his old one as a fixer-upper at the local lemon lot, if not he'll probably take it to the scrap yard.
My friend Cherish just had their 3rd baby, another girl, Millie. Three kids in four years... Her and Jonathan wouldn't mind a bigger gap between this one and the next. We're hoping to go visit them again tonight. So glad that they moved back here. :) Believe I heard that family court is today, which means a higher chance we'll be getting a call soon to get foster kids. I am so ready for the wait to be over.
Did you know last week was National Infertility Awareness Week? Know what happened? Three people I know had their babies, and our church had their first baby dedication. Who you think feels aware? Yeah, me. Anyway....
My step-mother-in-law is praying we don't get our first foster kids for about a month, she's wanting me to go on a trip with her and my sisters-in-laws the weekend of the 16th. Sounds fun, but I don't know if I want to wait that long to be a foster momma. I'll just leave that timing up to God...
Know I stayed home all last year and no jobs for me worked out? But now that we're getting close to being foster parents everyone keeps offering me jobs. Weird...
It's April so all our pets are older now. Our dog Nick is now 6, our cat Frosty is 4, and our kitten Clover is 1. They all grow up so fast!
