I know it's not true.

It's nice of y'all to say,
but you really don't have to lie.
It's quite obvious to us,
he loves you guys.

We don't like seeing him dive from our arms,
to go to one of you.
But I know it means he's well cared for,
so seeing it's a good thing too.

It'll all be reversed soon,
and I'll get to be his mama again.
When you're no longer primary care givers,
we hope you'll stay family friends.
