Poem: Mother Nature

Mother Nature,
and Father Time,
neither are parents,
and yet they're mine.

All around me,
I can see,
mothers and fathers,
who are yet to be.

For what is a mother?
But to nurture and care,
to help one grow,
and to always be there.

And what is a father?
But to provide and protect,
to lead the way,
with fear and respect.

Both mothers and fathers,
all around me I see.
Some don't have children,
but they're parents to me.
