This past week both of my furry babies had their birthdays!!!
Frosty had his birthday on the 19th. My wonderful kitten is now a year old! I searched and searched trying to find what his age would be in human years... but alas all the results say something different. Frosty is anywhere between 15 and 21 years old in human years! He's now 10lbs! And holding him feels so much more like holding a human baby. I love my Frosty baby.
Nick had his birthday exactly one week later! Nick turned two years old on the 26th! In human years he would be 14. That would mean that our cat is at least a year older in human years than our dog, it confuses me. lol
We celebrated both of their birthdays on Sunday giving them a special dinner. Frosty got an early present a few weeks ago, getting a new carrier. And Eunik will be getting a late birthday present, a leather collar with his name on it (which my grandma wants to buy for him).
My grandparents came to visit on Saturday. It was so nice to just sit and talk with them. They only live about 2 hours away, and we saw them at Christmas time, and grandma has called me a few times over Skype since then..... But I missed them.
While my grandparents were here, my grandma heard about the collar I was wanting to buy for Nick. I told her it would have to wait a bit because of money.... And when she called later that night to say they made it home safely.... She asked how much it costs because she wants to buy it for him! I love my pets like they are my children, but I never expect anyone else to treat them like our kids. My eyes watered when grandma said she wanted to buy the collar for him, she's so sweet. :)
