....Cycle Day 37....
Hello blogger world, how are you? I'm doing alright. Very much looking forward to the new year. Did I tell you about Jared's plumber job? Hmmm... I don't think I have... I'm so excited about it!!!! Ok so back in the spring when Jared was job hunting we looked into him applying to be a plumber. But we found out that he would have to pay for plumber classes in the fall. Of course those classes would be outta town and we'd have to pay the gas for the trip as well. And at the time, well we didn't think we'd be able to afford for him to get that job, because of those classes. So Jared picked up an application and... never turned it back in.
NOW a few months later Jared gets a phone call from his papa. You see Jared and Papa know Steve, the plumbing guy, because they often hired him for any plumbing work that needed done while they were doing remodeling and repair work.
Anyways... Steve called Papa wanting to set up an interview with Jared!!!! Jared called Steve the next day, got an interview the same day, and was told to come in to work the next Thursday! Steve told Jared not to quit his Walmart job just yet so that if things don't work out he still has something to fall back on.
Last Thursday was Jared's first day. It went well. Tomorrow is Jared's second day, the next his third, and so on. Hopefully by this time next month Jared's Walmart job will be history and he will be a full time plumber! The classes won't be until the fall, and turns out they'll only be about $200 which I'm sure we'll be able to manage by then. There are a million and one reasons I'm excited about this plumbing job!!!!....
But I'm trying not to get too excited in case... well... you know.... It just feels too good to be true. The way the job came to him feels like God's will, but just in case it's not.... I'll wait to tell you all my many reasons for being excited he's a plumber.
P.S. My trip outta town last week with Cherish went well. I met Cherish's midwife, and I've definitely decided that when I get pregnant... I'm going the midwife rout.
